Infinix | SAN Sound | IMCMPLX: The Endgame Mobile Gaming System

Mobile gaming has come a long way since Fruit Ninja

According to eSportsCharts.com, three of the top five most viewed eSports tournaments of all time are for games played on mobile devices. The 2026 world championship grand finals for Mobile Legends: Bang Bang (the world’s largest mobile eSport) peaked at 5.68 million concurrent viewers. That’s more than the all-time peak viewership for Counter Strike and DOTA combined.

But, since the beginning, mobile gaming has consistently had one overwhelming problem: Heat. Because phones weren’t built as dedicated gaming devices, most don’t have any efficient way of dissipating the temperature build-up from power consumption.

Even flagship phones overheat during regular daily use; for competitive, high-performance gaming, heat can cause massive drops in framerate or even render the device borderline unusable. For years, this has been a problem for even the most powerful of smartphones, with videos detailing DIY solutions and complex external cooling units garnering tens of millions of views.

This is not a problem unique to mobile gaming. Any PC gamer knows the importance of managing temperature and performance. The mobile gamer, however, faces yet another hurdle in the form of equipment. While PCs have the luxury of dedicated desk space, mobile devices must be just that — Mobile. Gaming headsets might be usable in a tournament setting, but these are not practical to lug around. Instead, the first thing most people will reach for is their trusty pair of Bluetooth earbuds.

What they don’t realize is that this introduces yet another hitch in the system: Audio latency. With any wireless audio device, there will be a brief delay between what you see and what you hear. As surprising as it may sound, the brain reacts to sound faster than it reacts to visual stimuli, so in competitive settings, these milliseconds can be the difference between victory and defeat.

Finally, poorly tuned audio gear (including many bulky so-called ‘gaming headsets’) lack the ability to produce accurate spatial cues, or artificially try to do so with post-processing software, to varying degrees of success. With well-tuned and specialized audio gear, the brain can precisely pinpoint the origin of a sound, allowing you to identify and track an enemy before even seeing them, giving you additional split-second advantages.

So to summarize:

  1. Heat throttles performance.

  2. Wireless audio introduces delay.

  3. Gaming audio gear isn’t built to go mobile (and often isn’t even good in the first place)

The endgame mobile gaming system must address all three of these problems. Which is why…

We are beyond excited to introduce the GT50 Pro x HARDWIRE x IMCMPLX, the full mobile gaming system – including both  technology and fashion. We’re delivering a system where every component is built to fully optimize the performance of both the phone and the player.

Infinix has been building accessible, high-performance gaming phones since 2016, and with its iconic GT series used the device of choice for hundreds of tournaments. Now, the GT 50 Pro is set to leapfrog the competition. In addition to its flagship specs, and 144Hz 6.78-inch flat AMOLED screen, GT 50 Pro utilizes an industry-first liquid cooling loop, finally putting an end to the perennial heating problem.

Instead of the traditional fan or heatsink, liquid cooling is both more efficient and more effective. You can see the cooling in action on the back of the phone running through transparent tubes, lit by customizable RGB LEDs. Another crucial feature are the dedicated, “Pressure-Sense” shoulder triggers, giving another form of tactile control and freeing up valuable real estate on the screen. And, with GT 50 Pro, Infinix is introducing Dolby Atmos. This is where HARDWIRE comes in.

As a USB-C wired earbud, HARDWIRE has zero latency, is incredibly light, and is compatible with almost all modern devices (Infinix phones included, of course). HARDWIRE is built to deliver SAN’s signature Holographic Audio, maximizing directional precision and sense of scale. This is only possible through the Audio Cortex, a computational unit and high-power amplifier built directly into the wire.

Through the soundscape app, you can customize the Audio Cortex to suit your needs. Change the lighting, gestures, and select different sound profiles: Combat, Open-World, and Custom. These profiles are tuned in conjunction with some of the best players in the world for peak competitive advantage and spatial reproduction. HARDWIRE’s built-in adaptive mic is designed to learn and lock onto the frequencies of your voice, drowning out everything else. That means your team will have no problem hearing your comms, even in noisy environments.

With the Audio Cortex, HARDWIRE becomes a seamless part of the GT50 Pro system. The result is a gaming package that feels faster, and feels like yours: GT50 Pro + HARDWIRE is mobile endgame.

The System, Worn

But performance doesn’t exist in isolation. It has to live somewhere... on the body. In motion. In the real world. This is where the system expands.

In collaboration with IMCMPLX, the GT50 Pro x HARDWIRE ecosystem extends beyond hardware into form. A design language built around cooling, flow, and control, expressed physically. A collaboration that fuses Infinix’s Cooling Beast technology with SAN Sound’s Holographic Audio, and IMCMPLX’s iconic design language creates a system that feels, sounds, and looks like one boundless experience.

At the center of this is the GT Arcweave V-Wrap. A modular, wearable layer engineered for airflow and movement. The V-Wrap reframes what mobile gaming looks like. And wired earbuds are no longer something you hide. The cable, the device, the player are all visible with full intention.

Because staying cool goes beyond the technology. It’s a mindset too.

Stay cool. Get ahead.
