Understanding Bluetooth vs. SANSYNC Mode

Your SANWEAR earbuds support two connection modes:

Bluetooth Mode

  • Best for streaming music, making calls, and general use.
  • Works with a wide range of devices, including phones, tablets, and laptops.

SANSYNC Mode (SANWEAR-GT Only)

  • Designed for gaming, VR, and real-time audio applications.
  • Provides ultra-low latency to eliminate audio lag.
  • Uses either the charging case for connection or the SANSYNC dongle (sold separately) for VR headsets and other devices.

Switching between Bluetooth and SANSYNC modes on SANWEAR-GT earbuds is quick and intuitive.

  1. Remove the earbuds from the case.
  2. Tap the touch-sensitive area on either earbud three times to toggle modes.
  3. Listen for the confirmation tone to ensure the switch was successful.

Using the SANSYNC Dongle (Sold Separately)

  1. Plug the dongle into your device’s USB-C port.
  2. Remove the earbuds from the case.
  3. The earbuds will automatically connect in SANSYNC mode.
  4. The dongle light will turn solid green, indicating a successful connection.

Using SANSYNC Mode on PC and Consoles

  1. Plug the SANWEAR-GT charging case into a USB-C port on your PC, PS5, Switch, or other compatible device (Xbox not yet supported).
  2. Remove the earbuds from the case.
  3. Tap either earbud three times and listen for the confirmation tone to activate SANSYNC mode.
  4. Set your PC or console’s audio output to the USB device.

Using Bluetooth on PC

  1. Ensure Bluetooth is enabled on your PC.
  2. Open Bluetooth settings and select SANWEAR or SANWEAR-GT from the list of available devices.
  3. Listen for the confirmation tone to confirm pairing.

For the best gaming experience, always use SANSYNC mode on compatible devices to eliminate audio lag.


Fixing Pairing Issues: When Only One Earbud Connects

If only one earbud connects to your device, try these troubleshooting steps:

  1. Perform a Soft Reset

    • Place both earbuds back in the case.
    • Perform a 5-tap reset as seen in the troubleshooting guide.
    • Remove the earbuds and try reconnecting.
  2. Forget and Re-Pair

    • In your Bluetooth settings, forget the SANWEAR device.
    • Put the earbuds back in the case.
    • Remove them and look for the flashing red and white lights, indicating pairing mode.

    • Use the SOUNDSCAPE app to ensure your earbuds are running the latest firmware.
